Donkieskraal Guest Lodge brings together peaceful surroundings, cave chalet accommodation, natural rock formations, birdlife, open West Coast/Sandveld views and self-catering country hospitality.

Guests can unwind in private wood-fired hot tubs, enjoy the swimming pool, gather around a fire at sunset, explore the surrounding area or simply settle into the stillness of the countryside.

Located on Sandberg Farm near Leipoldtville, the lodge offers a slower way to experience the Sandveld. Guests can choose self-catering cave chalets, Hendre's House, safari glamping tents or camp sites, then spend time around the reserve on game drives, guided hikes or quiet bird-watching walks.

Natural rock formations, Ancient Bushman Rock Art, seasonal flowers and wide night skies shape the character of each visit. The setting suits couples, families, friends and groups who value privacy, simple self-catering comfort and direct access to the countryside.
